Job Title: Media Planner
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Full-time
Responsibilities
Strategy:
1. Develops and recommend the organization's strategic and long-range goals based on analysis and studies of business conditions.
2. Identifies which media platforms would best advertise a client brand or product.
3. Liaises with IDS to gain a solid understanding of customer behavior and media consumption to allow greater media segmentation and continuous improvement of the current media strategy.
4. Prepares proposals and site plans in conformance with codes and local and national regulations i.e. APCON approvals.
Planning:
1. Ensure clients maximize the impact of their advertising campaigns through the use of a range of media.
2. Ensure delivery of long-term brand awareness and trading demand KPIs across all media channels as effectively and efficiently as possible
3. Gathers relevant statistical data and draft reports on issues such as demographic information, occupancy rates, and land use.
4. Support the planning process for designated business areas and any projects defined by the media manager.
Budget Management:
· Ensures the best of the organization’s resources for the establishment of key objectives and mission realization, considering the organization’s strengths, weaknesses, capacity, and products.
· Monitors and evaluates results of existing plans to ensure growth and profitability and make adjustments as necessary.
· Develop strong relationships with external agencies including our media planning, buying, and creative agencies.
· Work with the media agency, RTMs, and other key stakeholders to develop a robust yearly and quarterly test-and-learn program with the view of driving innovation and opening new media channels.
Handles rezoning, site plans, special use permits, and related materials
Key Performance Indicator
· Create functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/ policies/ procedures to support the functional infrastructures within 7 days of the first briefing.
· Prepare contact reports of meetings and ensure circulation copy gets to clients latest 24 hours after the meeting.
· Strategic sponsorship analysis, development, and innovative partnerships within two days of receipt
· Work with key stakeholders within Brand and Trading, Econometrics, and agencies to complete post campaigns and input into internal TTL campaign reviews QBRs to be submitted 8 days after receipt of the report
Qualification:
Degree from a reputable institution with about 1- 3 years post-NYSC experience. Other relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
